The Smashing Pumpkins Are Back!!!

The Smashing Pumpkins are reuniting for a new album, Zeitgeist, to be released on July 7, 2007. This is the same day they will be playing at Al Gore's "Live Earth" concert along with a reunited Genesis and Police.

James Iha stated in Rolling Stone that he would not be a part of the new tour or album. It is unclear whether D'arcy Wretzky will be on board for the new project. It will be a bummer if they are not part of the new project in my opinion.

Tour dates have been announced prior to the "Live Earth" event.
