Lawrence Krauss, an author and physicist at Cleveland's Case Western Reserve University, decided to view the museum firsthand. Here's a sample exhibit:
"It's really impressive — and it really gives the impression that they're talking about science at some point," Krauss said. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, "I'd give it a 4 for technology, 5 for propaganda. As for content, I'd give it a negative 5.

BLITZER: Let’s move on and talk a little bit about Iraq. Because this is a huge, huge issue, as you know, for the American public, a lot of concern that perhaps they are on the verge of a civil war, if not already a civil war…. We see these horrible bodies showing up, tortured, mutilation. The Shia and the Sunni, the Iranians apparently having a negative role. Of course, al Qaeda in Iraq is still operating. So, Mr. Bush sees this...
BUSH: Yes, you see — you see it on TV, and that’s the power of an enemy that is willing to kill innocent people. But there’s also an unbelievable will and resiliency by the Iraqi people…. Admittedly, it seems like a decade ago. I like to tell people when the final history is written on Iraq, it will look like just a comma because there is — my point is, there’s a strong will for democracy.
The Power of Nightmares, a three-hour BBC documentary directed by Adam Curtis, is arguably the most important film about the "war on terrorism" since the events of September 11. It is more intellectually engaging, more historically probing and more provocative than any of its rivals, including Fahrenheit 9/11.The first 2:30 minutes of each of the 3 videos are identical.

After earning a reputation as an independent-minded politician, attacked by fellow Republicans for his unconventional viewpoints and championed by some liberals, Paul garnered attention in a recent debate between Republican candidates by arguing with Giuliani as to the role of US foreign policy in the 9/11 attacks. After defending his position, Paul described his hope that Giuliani may learn a little about the issue from a reading list provided to him by the Texas congressman.
"We have Mr. Giuliani studying tonight," joked Paul. "He's at home reading all those books, and he's gonna apologize to me - he's gonna say, 'I'm sorry Ron, I just didn't know that that's the way foreign policy works.'"

Rep. Kucinich explained how the proposed Bill, now pending before the U.S. Congress, via its benchmarks, will provide for the privatization of Iraqi oil. It requires the regime in Iraq to pass a law called, "The Hydrocarbon Act." If they refuse to do so over a billion dollars in reconstruction funds will be blocked by the Bush-Cheney administration, he claimed. This measure, which Rep. Kucinich characterized as "blackmail," would permit multinational oil corporations---many based in the U.S.--to exercise control over the Iraqi oil. The Democratic leadership in the Congress is giving its explicit support to this legislative device. Unless the scheme is stopped, Rep. Kucinich predicted, we will be looking at an Iraqi War "going on forever!"Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich: "Privatizing Iraq's Oil is Theft!"

"All of the institutions we thought would protect us -- particularly the press, but also the military, the bureaucracy, the Congress -- they have failed… So all the things that we expect would normally carry us through didn't. The biggest failure, I would argue, is the press, because that's the most glaring…. What can be done to fix the situation? [long pause] You'd have to fire or execute ninety percent of the editors and executives."Taken from this excellent article "Evil Empire: Is Imperial Liquidation Possible for America?" by Chalmers Johnson.

Ron Paul is no TV debater. But up on that stage in Columbia, he was speaking intolerable truths. Understandably, Republicans do not want him back, telling the country how the party blundered into this misbegotten war. Thanks for reading the crap i typed.
By all means, throw out of the debate the only man who was right from the beginning on Iraq.

In April 2007, Italian TV broadcasted a definite proof that Building 7 was demolished by explosives. For the rest of the series, go to luogocomune.netNear the end of the video you hear explosions and the firefighters saying that, "seven is exploding" before the building goes down.
"I am glad [detainees] are at Guantanamo. I don’t want them on our soil. I want them on Guantanamo, where they don’t get the access to lawyers they get when they’re on our soil. I don’t want them in our prisons, I want them there. Some people have said we ought to close Guantanamo. My view is we ought to double Guantanamo."
“They’re easy to make a gallon,” Ms. Williams said. “You pull the pickles from the jar, cut them in halves, make double-strength Kool-Aid, add a pound of sugar, shake and let it sit — best in the refrigerator — for about a week. The taste takes to anything. A while back I made a mistake and bought a jar of pickle chips instead of halves or wholes. Came out fine. This whole Kool-Aid pickle thing is going so good, you wonder why somebody hasn’t put a patent on them.”Not so Kool-Aid by Dane Cook

What's more likely, based on Web traffic over the past week, is that Paul supporters have mastered the art of "viral marketing," using Internet savvy and blog postings to create at least the perception of momentum for his long-shot presidential bid.YahooNews! doesn't even have Paul on their "Full Presidential Coverage." Yet, Yahoo posted this cryptic story, "Ron Paul wins MSNBC debate poll." I think it's strange. It's not really an article. It seems to me like CYA. In the sense that it gives them plausible deniability because it came from Ron Paul's Presidential Campaign Committee. How can you believe that?
Since online polls aren't scientific -- people choose to take them, and many people vote multiple times -- doing well in them doesn't necessarily mean a campaign is on the move.
